Music clipping campaigns for new releases
Updated 9 October 2026 ยท Written by the SOVE7GN founders
A new song needs to be heard many times, by many people, in the week it comes out. A clipping campaign does that by putting your release on lots of creator accounts at once, each with its own audience. Music is where most of our campaigns so far have been.
What you get: we cut 25+ clips per release from the hook, your studio sessions and your live takes, then get our clipper network posting them in release week across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, Snapchat, Facebook and LinkedIn. You fund the clipper pool, from $5,500, and we run it for a 15% management fee.
Why clipping works for releases
Posting on your own page reaches people who already follow you. A playlist pitch or an influencer post is one placement, one time. A clipping campaign puts the song on many accounts at once, and each clip looks like normal content on that page, so people actually watch it instead of skipping it.
For music, that matters more than for most content. A hook usually takes more than one listen to stick. Hearing it on several different accounts in the same week gives it more chances to.
What we clip from a release
| Source | What it becomes |
|---|---|
| Official audio | Clips built around the hook, so the part people should remember is what they hear first. |
| Studio sessions | Behind-the-scenes moments: the take, the reaction, the line that changed. |
| Live takes | Performance clips that show the song working in a room. |
| Music video and interviews | Visual moments and stories behind the track, where you have them. |
Across those, a release usually gives us 25+ clips. One example of a release we've cut from: AABAADI, Kalp x Dhadkan (prod. Phxntom).
How a release campaign runs
- Send us the release. Audio, video, studio footage, live takes. Anything you own the rights to.
- We brief the network. Within the first 24 hours we pick the moments, make 2 example clips and write the rules: which audio to use, which tags to add, what's off-limits. You approve them before anything goes live.
- The network posts in release week. Clippers cut and post on their own accounts. A person on our team checks every clip within 24 hours.
- You see what worked. A weekly report shows real views and the clips that did best, so we can push more of what's landing.
Campaigns go live within 48 hours, so you can book close to a release. Booking a week or two ahead gives you time to approve the example clips without rushing.
Rules that protect your release
Music has rules other content doesn't. Before launch we agree with you which audio clippers can use, which tags and credits go on every clip, and which footage or topics are off-limits. Any clip that breaks those rules is rejected and doesn't count toward your views.
Every clip is also checked for fake views: we look at how the views grew, whether likes and comments match, where the viewers are, and platform bot flags. About 1 in 6 clips gets rejected. Those views never count.
What it costs
A release campaign is CPM clipping. You fund a clipper pool, from $5,500, and we run it for a 15% management fee, so a $5,500 pool comes to $6,325. We pay the clippers out of the pool, only for approved clips. For the full breakdown, see how much a clipping agency costs.
If you'd rather have editors run your own artist pages every day, that's retainer clipping, from $2,000 a month. Sign a retainer for 3 months and we guarantee 1,000,000 views.
Who this is for
- Independent artists with a release date and footage to work with.
- Artist managers running several releases who want one team handling short-form reach.
- Producers and labels who want release-week noise without managing creators one by one.
Questions people ask
Do clippers post on my artist accounts?
No. Clippers post on their own accounts, so the song reaches people who don't follow you yet. If you want your own pages run too, our editors can post on your accounts every day on a retainer plan, from $2,000 a month.
Which audio do the clips use?
The audio we agree with you before launch, usually the official audio of the release. It's written into the rules every clipper gets, and clips that break the rules are rejected.
How many clips do I get from one release?
Usually 25+ from a release, cut from the hook, studio sessions and live takes. More source footage means more clips.
How fast can a release campaign start?
Within 48 hours. In the first 24 hours we pick the moments, make 2 example clips and write the rules. Once you approve them, the campaign goes live.
