Podcast clipping agency
Updated 9 October 2026 ยท Written by the SOVE7GN founders
Most podcast episodes get watched once, by people who already listen. A podcast clipping agency cuts the best moments into short clips and gets them in front of people who've never heard of the show.
How SOVE7GN does it: you send episodes, we pick the moments and brief our clipper network, and clippers post the clips on their own accounts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, Snapchat, Facebook and LinkedIn. One hour of video usually gives us 12 to 20 clips. You fund the clipper pool, from $5,500, and we run it for a 15% management fee.
Two kinds of podcast clipping agency
Search for a podcast clipping agency and you'll find two different services under the same name. It's worth knowing which one you need.
| Editing agency | Distribution (clipping network) | |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | Edited clips, delivered as files or posted on your accounts | Clips posted on many creator accounts, each with its own audience |
| Who sees them | Mostly your existing followers | People who don't follow the show yet |
| How it's priced | Per clip or monthly | Per 1,000 views |
| Good for | Keeping your own channels active | Growing past the audience you already have |
SOVE7GN does both. CPM clipping is distribution through our clipper network. If you want your own pages run, that's retainer clipping, from $2,000 a month. The two can run together.
What one episode turns into
One hour of video usually gives us 12 to 20 clips. The count depends on the episode: a guest with strong opinions and good stories gives more than a slow catch-up. We look for moments that make sense on their own, open strong, and land a point. If you want the method, we wrote it up in how to turn a podcast into short-form clips.
How a podcast campaign runs
- Send us episodes. Full video episodes, interviews or live recordings you own the rights to. Send a link before the call and we'll tell you what we can make.
- We brief the clippers. We make 2 example clips and write the rules: tags, the show name, which episodes, and what's off-limits. You approve them before anything goes live.
- Clippers post, we check every clip. Clips go out on clipper accounts across 7 platforms. A person on our team checks each one within 24 hours.
- Weekly report. Real views and the best clips, so you can see which topics and guests travel.
Campaigns are live within 48 hours.
Keeping it fair to your guests
A podcast clip can make a guest look bad if it's cut wrong: the setup without the answer, or a joke without the context. Before launch we agree what's off-limits with you, and clips that break the rules are rejected and don't count toward your views. If you want a clip taken down, tell us and we'll ask the clipper to remove it.
Only real views count
Every clip is checked by a person against five things: the rules, how the views grew, whether likes and comments match the views, where viewers are, and bot flags. About 1 in 6 clips gets rejected, and rejected clips are never paid from your pool.
Pricing
You fund a clipper pool, from $5,500, and we run it for a 15% management fee: a $5,500 pool comes to $6,325. We pay the clippers out of the pool, only for approved clips. For your own accounts, retainer plans start at $2,000 a month, and a 3-month plan comes with a 1,000,000-view guarantee. More detail in what a clipping agency costs.
Questions people ask
Do clippers post on my podcast's accounts?
No. They post on their own accounts so the show reaches new people. If you want your own pages run too, our editors can post on your accounts every day on a retainer plan, from $2,000 a month.
How many clips do you make per episode?
One hour of video usually gives us 12 to 20 clips. It depends on how many strong, self-contained moments the episode has.
Will clips drive people to the full episode?
Clips are built to get your show in front of people who don't know it. We report views, not downloads or subscribers, and we don't promise those. Agree tags and the show name in the rules so viewers can find you.
