Clipping agency red flags
Updated 17 October 2026 · Written by Reyansh Juneja and Naman Dhiman, the co-founders of SOVE7GN, who run the campaigns and review the clips
Most clipping agencies are honest. Some sell numbers that look great and mean nothing. These are the warning signs that should make you slow down before you pay.
Short answer: walk away from a clipping agency that won't explain how it checks views, claims it never rejects clips, guarantees views without saying which views count, shows screenshots instead of live posts, hides what its fee covers, or locks you into a long contract before you've seen any results.
Eight red flags
1. "We don't reject clips"
Every pay-per-view campaign attracts some fake views. An agency that rejects nothing isn't checking.
2. No explanation of how views are checked
Ask what they look at. Good answers mention view growth, engagement, viewer location and platform flags, checked by a person.
3. A views guarantee with no definition
Which views count? Approved only? From which platforms? In what time? A guarantee without terms is marketing.
4. Screenshots instead of links
Screenshots are easy to fake. Ask for links to real posts you can check yourself.
5. A vague fee
"Campaign management" isn't a breakdown. Ask what the fee covers and how much goes to clippers.
6. Long lock-ins up front
A minimum term can be reasonable for bigger plans, but be wary of long commitments before you've seen anything work.
7. No approval before launch
You should see example clips and agree rules before anything goes out under your name.
8. Promises about sales or followers
Clipping drives attention. Anyone promising specific sales, streams or followers is guessing.
What good looks like
| Red flag | Green flag |
|---|---|
| No rejections | A stated rejection rate |
| Secret review | Specific checks, by a person, with a timeframe |
| Vague guarantee | Clear terms in writing |
| Screenshots | Links to real posts |
| Lump-sum fee | Itemised fee |
| No approval | Example clips before launch |
How SOVE7GN handles each
About 1 in 6 clips is rejected in our network. A person checks every clip within 24 hours. Our 1,000,000-view guarantee is for 3-month retainer plans, with terms in writing. The clips on our homepage link to the real posts. CPM fees are 15% on top of your pool. You approve 2 example clips before launch. And we report views, not promised sales.
Questions people ask
Are clipping agencies a scam?
Most aren't. Use the checklist above to separate careful ones from careless ones.
How do I verify an agency's results?
Ask for links to real posts and check the views and comments yourself.
Is a views guarantee a red flag?
Only if it isn't defined. A guarantee with clear terms is fine.
What should be in a clipping contract?
Scope, price, term, what counts as a view, rejection rules, takedowns and reporting.
