Financial advisor video marketing: daily clips from your webinars, approved by compliance first
Updated 25 October 2026 · Written by Reyansh Juneja and Naman Dhiman, the co-founders of SOVE7GN, who run the campaigns and review the clips
We do financial advisor video marketing from what you already record: webinars, market commentary and podcast appearances become short clips posted on your own accounts, and nothing posts until your compliance team has approved it. Plans start at $2,000 a month for 2 clips a day, and a 3-month plan on Entry or above comes with 1,000,000 views guaranteed in writing.
Short answer: your compliance team approves 2 example clips and a rules card before launch, then approves each weekly batch before anything posts. We post only the approved files, unchanged, and your archiving system keeps them. Performance figures, predictions, client stories and testimonials without the required disclosures never get clipped. We go live within 48 hours of approval. Book a 30-minute call and bring your compliance contact.
Who is this for, and who should not hire us?
Founder-led RIAs, wealth managers and advisors on broker-dealer platforms in the US who already record webinars, podcasts or market commentary, with 5k to 300k followers and a client relationship worth $2,000 or more. An advisor explaining a Roth conversion or a required minimum distribution in plain words is the kind of clip a prospective client can follow and save.
It is the wrong fit if your compliance team cannot review a weekly batch, if you want to market performance, if nobody will be on camera, or if you need a guaranteed number of leads. We guarantee views, not clients. UK and Canadian advisers: your regulator's financial promotion rules apply, and your compliance team sets the rules card; the rules detailed on this site are the US ones.
What do we clip from what you already record?
| What you record | Clips it gives | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Client education webinars | One planning concept per clip: Roth conversions, RMDs, Social Security timing, tax-loss harvesting | Explain the concept; no promise of an outcome |
| Monthly market commentary | What happened, why it matters, what you are watching | No forecasts or implied returns |
| Podcast and panel appearances | Your views on planning mistakes and how you work | Opinions labeled as opinions |
| Recorded Q&A sessions | One common question per clip | Questions in general terms, never a real client's situation |
| Conference talks | Short takes for other professionals and business owners | Same approval as everything else |
One hour of talk-heavy video usually gives 12 to 20 clips. Entry is about 60 clips a month (2 a day), so it needs 3 to 5 hours of recorded talk a month. A monthly 1-hour webinar gives 12 to 20, so most advisors add a monthly recorded Q&A or podcast appearances to fill Entry.
What never gets clipped?
These stay out of every clip, whatever the hook would gain. The rule detail is on FINRA and SEC rules for advisor videos.
- Performance numbers. The SEC Marketing Rule requires net performance alongside gross and set time periods; FINRA Rule 2210 bars projecting performance or implying past performance will recur. A 30-second clip cannot carry that properly.
- Predictions. "Rates will fall by spring" is a forecast. "Here is what we are watching" is commentary.
- Testimonials without disclosures. Both rules require specific disclosures for client testimonials. We do not cut client stories unless your compliance team has written the disclosure.
- Anything about a real client. Even anonymized, if a detail could identify them.
- Words your rules card bans. "Guaranteed", "safe", "risk free" and anything compliance adds.
How does review-then-post work?
- Rules card. Your compliance team lists banned topics and words, required disclosures and who approves.
- Two example clips. We cut them from your footage; compliance approves both, with captions, before anything goes live.
- Weekly batch. We deliver the next week's clips and captions together. On Entry that is 14 clips; on Growth, 28. The principal approves or rejects each one and logs the approval.
- Post what was approved. We post only approved files, unchanged. A caption edit goes back for approval.
- Archive. Your archiving system captures the posted clip and caption, with the approval record your compliance team keeps.
- Comments. Your team answers comments and DMs under your own policy. We do not.
This is why we tell advisors to plan a fixed weekly review slot. When review slips, posting pauses, and if we are waiting on you for approvals the guarantee clock waits too. Your compliance team owns every decision; we do not certify clips as compliant.

What does it cost?
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | $2,000 a month | 2 clips a day on your accounts, a weekly strategy call, an idea doc |
| Growth | $4,000 a month | Everything in Entry, with 4 clips a day |
| Full service | $5,000 to $6,000 a month | Everything in Growth, plus scripting, 2 calls a week and monthly analytics. 3-month minimum |
We suggest starting on Entry, because 14 clips a week fits into one weekly review slot. On a 3-month plan at Entry or above we guarantee 1,000,000 views; if you are short at the end, we keep posting at our own cost (Terms). It covers views, not leads or assets.
For advisors we recommend own-account clips over our CPM clipper network: clips posted by other people's accounts on your behalf raise the same supervision questions FINRA raised in its M1 Finance case. Founders in other niches, including B2B founders with podcasts, are on our founders page.
Questions people ask
What should financial advisors post on social media?
Short clips of the advisor explaining one planning concept at a time: tax moves, retirement income, Social Security timing, what to do in a volatile month. Education builds trust without making claims that compliance cannot approve.
Do financial advisors need compliance approval for social media posts?
For a FINRA member firm, a public post about the firm's products or services is usually a retail communication that a registered principal approves before use. SEC-registered advisers must keep a copy of every advertisement and follow the Marketing Rule's testimonial and performance limits. Your compliance team sets the process.
Can financial advisors post on TikTok?
Whether your firm allows it is your compliance team's call, so ask before the first post. The FINRA and SEC rules attach to the content and the records, not to the app.
Is a financial advisor marketing agency worth it?
If you already record webinars or commentary and nobody is cutting them into clips, yes, because the content exists and only the editing and posting are missing. If you record nothing, start by recording one monthly session before paying anyone.
