Luxury travel advisor marketing: daily short clips from your trip stories and destination talks

Updated 27 October 2026 · Written by Reyansh Juneja and Naman Dhiman, the co-founders of SOVE7GN, who run the campaigns and review the clips

Luxury travel advisor marketing works best when the advisor is on camera explaining the judgment behind a trip: which villa, which week, which mistake to avoid, and why. We turn your recorded trip debriefs, destination talks and client webinars into short clips posted daily on your own accounts, from $2,000 a month for 2 clips a day.

Short answer: Record a few hours a month of you talking through trips you planned and the decisions behind them; one hour of talk-heavy video usually gives 12 to 20 clips. Post them on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. Put your seller of travel registration number in ads where your state requires it (California, Florida and Washington do), your TICO number in Ontario, and your ATOL details in the UK if you sell protected packages. Never show a client without written consent.

What do luxury travel clients want to see from an advisor?

Not the brochure. They can find the hotel's own drone footage in seconds. What they cannot find is your judgment: why this suite and not the one above it, why the second week of June, what the property's own site leaves out. A client spending this much on a trip is choosing who to trust with it, and that is the same reason founder-led content works for every high-ticket business.

How do recorded hours become a month of clips?

Sit down each week or two, after your own trips or client returns, and talk through the topics below. Your phone, a clip-on mic, and someone asking you questions is enough.

Clip typeExample first lineBuilt from
The room choice"Book this side of the hotel, not the sea-view upgrade. Here is why."Your own site visit footage plus you explaining
The timing rule"The week I tell every client to avoid on the Amalfi Coast."Destination talk
The mistake"The connection that ruins a two-week safari."Trip debrief
The comparison"Two villas, same price, one I would book."Your photos and video from inspections
The question"Do I need an advisor if I can book it myself?"Client webinar or Q&A
The story"A client's flight was cancelled at 11pm. Here is what happened next."Trip debrief, told without identifying the client
The checklist"What I confirm 48 hours before a client lands."Talk to camera

At 12 to 20 clips per hour, one recorded hour fills 6 to 10 days at 2 clips a day (12 divided by 2, and 20 divided by 2). Entry's 2 clips a day is about 60 clips a month, which takes about 3 to 5 recorded hours (60 divided by 20, and 60 divided by 12); our founders page shows the full method. Your own inspection footage carries the visuals. Hotel or tour operator footage belongs to them, so use it only with permission.

What must a travel advisor's ad show?

General information, not legal advice. Checked October 2026.

WhereWhat the rule saysSource
CaliforniaThe Attorney General says a seller of travel's registration number should be clearly displayed on all advertising materials (Business and Professions Code 17550.20)California OAG
FloridaEach advertisement must include the phrase "(NAME OF FIRM) is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel. Registration No. ___"Fla. Stat. 559.928(5)
WashingtonThe registration number must be in all advertisements, except institutional advertising that includes no prices or dates for travel servicesRCW 19.138.100
OntarioRegistered travel agents must display their TICO registration number when communicating with people about travel services, including ads, websites and brochuresOntario.ca
UKATOL holders must show their name, ATOL number and ATOL logo clearly on all publicity material such as websites and brochuresCAA, ATOL Standard Term 1

Our cautious reading: a clip that names a price, a date or a bookable trip is an advertisement, so the registration line belongs in the caption of every such clip and in your profile. Washington's exception covers clips with no prices or dates, but a caption line costs nothing, so we would add it anyway.

What if you work under a host agency?

Washington lets an independent contractor or outside agent of a registered seller of travel skip their own registration if they do business in the host's name and under its registration, and all client money is collected in the host's name (RCW 19.138.100(5)). Our cautious reading: if you sell under your host's registration, the number in your ads is the host's, and your branding should not suggest you are a separate registered seller. Read your host agreement for its own rules on names, logos and social media, and get the caption line approved once.

What plans fit a luxury travel advisor?

PlanPriceWhat you get
Entry$2,000 a month2 clips a day, cut from your videos and posted on your own accounts
Growth$4,000 a month4 clips a day
Full service$5,000 to $6,000 a monthScripting, 2 calls a week, analytics; 3-month minimum

We make 2 example clips for your approval before anything goes live, and go live within 48 hours. On a 3-month plan at Entry or above, we guarantee 1,000,000 views; if you fall short, we keep posting at our own cost (terms). You approve your registration caption line once and we use it on every clip; checking ads for legal compliance stays with you.

Private aviation and yachts have their own rules and clip maps: see private jet charter marketing and yacht broker marketing. For the other high-ticket niches we serve, see how we work with founder-led businesses. To map your own first month of clips, book a 30-minute call.

Who is this not for?

If you will not be on camera, we are the wrong fit: supplier footage with music looks the same on every advisor's account. It also does not fit if you sell mainly low-priced trips, where the fee is hard to earn back, or if you need guaranteed bookings. We guarantee views, not sales.

Questions people ask

How do luxury travel advisors get clients?

Through referrals, repeat clients and people who already trust their judgment. Short video of you explaining real trip decisions widens the referral circle: people who have never met you see how you think, and past clients have something specific to share with friends.

Should a travel advisor be on camera?

Yes, if you want content that competitors cannot copy. Destination footage is available to everyone; your judgment about a specific room, week or route is not.

Do travel advisors need a seller of travel number on Instagram posts?

In California, Florida and Washington the rules require the registration number in advertising, and a post that offers trips with prices or dates is advertising in our cautious reading. Put it in the caption and in your profile.

What does a travel marketing agency cost?

It varies by what is included. Our plans start at $2,000 a month for 2 clips a day posted on your own accounts, with Growth at $4,000 and Full service at $5,000 to $6,000 a month.
