Clipping for esports teams and tournaments
Updated 10 October 2026 · Written by the SOVE7GN founders
Esports moments have a short shelf life. The clutch round matters tonight. By next week, everyone's talking about the next match. Clipping is about getting the best moments out fast, and onto enough accounts that people who weren't watching see them too.
What you get: daily clips on your team or tournament accounts (retainers from $2,000 a month), and clipper campaigns that put highlights on many accounts across 7 platforms (pools from $5,500 plus a 15% management fee). Gaming is one of the niches most of our campaigns have been in so far.
What we clip
| Source | What it becomes |
|---|---|
| Match VODs | Clutch rounds, comebacks, big plays |
| Casting | The call that made the moment |
| Player cams and comms | Reactions and team talk |
| Behind the scenes | Practice, travel, the team house |
| Announcements | Roster changes and trailers cut into hooks |
Sponsors in the rules
Sponsor tags and mentions can be written into the clip rules, so clippers include them correctly. Clips that break the rules are rejected and never paid.
Speed matters
Campaigns go live within 48 hours. For a tournament, set the rules and example clips before the event starts, so clippers can post during it.

Questions people ask
Can clippers post during a live tournament?
Yes, if the footage and rules are ready. Agree them before the event so clips can go out while it's happening.
Do you check that game footage is allowed?
Game publishers have their own rules on using footage. You're responsible for having the rights to what you send us, and we write any limits into the rules.
Can you clip individual players' streams?
With the player's permission, yes. Each source needs clear rights.
Which platforms work best for esports?
TikTok, YouTube Shorts and X are usually strongest. A CPM campaign covers all 7 platforms.
