Growthr alternative: what you get per dollar

Updated 15 October 2026 · Written by the SOVE7GN founders

This page is for founders and marketing teams comparing Growthr with a clipping agency. Growthr sells two different things, and people often mix them up, so we've separated them. We're SOVE7GN, a competitor, and we've used Growthr's own pricing page.

Short answer: Growthr's $10,000-a-month retainer is a paid-media growth team, not a clipping service. Its clipping product, Clipper by Growthr, is a CPM campaign with a $10,000 minimum, a 15% management fee and a $499 onboarding fee (pricing page updated September 22, 2026). SOVE7GN's CPM campaigns start from a $5,500 pool plus 15%, and its clipping retainer from $2,000 a month.

Growthr sells two products

Growthr's pricing page (last updated September 22, 2026) lists a growth retainer and a separate clipping product. Here's what each includes, in Growthr's words where quoted.

Its homepage says content production isn't included in the retainer. So if you want clipping from Growthr, you're buying Clipper. Two good things on the Clipper side: Growthr says payment triggers only after views "clear fraud review", and unspent budget is returned to you.

Clipper vs a SOVE7GN CPM campaign

These are the closest like-for-like products. Both are managed CPM campaigns with a 15% fee.

The $11,999 figure assumes the 15% fee sits on top of the $10,000 budget, plus the $499. Growthr's page says the fee is "of campaign budget", so ask them how it's billed.

Retainer per dollar: what each $10,000 buys

The angle most people come here for is the retainer. Growthr's retainer and SOVE7GN's retainers are different jobs, so compare what each dollar pays for.

Worked example: on Entry, $2,000 for about 60 clips works out to roughly $33 a clip, posted on your own accounts. Growthr's retainer doesn't publish a per-clip number to compare, because clips aren't what it sells.

When Growthr is the better fit

Growthr is likely the better pick in these cases.
