You can start clipping without spending anything. Every tool and campaign you need at the beginning has a free option. The only real cost is your time.
Short answer: to start clipping for free, use a free video editor and the free plan of an AI clipper, a free game recorder if you clip games, and join clipping campaigns that are free to enter, where you're paid per 1,000 approved views. Avoid anything that charges you to "unlock" campaigns or sells courses promising guaranteed income.

A first-month reality check
Free tools don't mean fast money. Here's a worked example with sample numbers, not a promise. Say you post 40 clips in your first month across two campaigns. On our network, about 1 in 6 clips is rejected, so plan for roughly 33 approved clips. If those average 3,000 approved views each at a $1 CPM, that's 99,000 views, or about $99. Some months one clip takes off and changes the total. Many months it doesn't. Before you count on a payout, check each campaign's minimum views to qualify and the minimum withdrawal amount.
