How to get your clips approved
Updated 10 October 2026 · Written by the SOVE7GN founders
A rejected clip earns nothing, however many views it got. We review clips every day, and the reasons for rejection are almost always the same. Fix these and your approval rate goes up.
Short answer: read the brief and follow it exactly (right video, audio, tags and length), never use bought views or engagement, and make sure your views come from the regions the campaign asks for. In our network, about 1 in 6 clips is rejected, and most of those are rule breaks that were easy to avoid.
The three big reasons clips get rejected
1. Breaking the brief
The most common reason, and the easiest to fix.
- Wrong source video
- Wrong or modified audio
- Missing tags, credits or handles
- Too long or too short
- Watermarks from another app
2. Views that look fake
- Views that jump overnight instead of building up
- Lots of views with almost no likes or comments
- Comments from empty accounts
If your clip genuinely took off, it will usually show it: steady growth, real comments, shares.
3. Wrong audience
Some campaigns target specific regions. If most of your views come from elsewhere, the clip may not count. Know where your followers are before you join.

Make reviewers' jobs easy
- Submit the right link, from the right account.
- Post in the format the example clips show.
- If you're unsure about a rule, ask before posting.
When a clip is rejected
Read the reason. A good network tells you why. Fix it on the next clip. Don't argue about rule breaks, and never try to "fix" a clip by buying views.
Clipping with SOVE7GN

Questions people ask
Can I repost a rejected clip?
Only if you fix the reason and the campaign allows resubmissions. Ask first.
Why was my viral clip rejected?
Usually a rule break or a view pattern that looked inorganic. The rejection reason should tell you which.
Does editing quality matter?
Yes. Clips that open strong and look clean get more real views, and reviewers notice effort.
