Who are the most clipped streamers in 2026?

Updated 15 October 2026 · Written by the SOVE7GN founders

This page is for streamers, managers and clippers who want to know who gets clipped the most right now, and why. Every number below comes from a named source with a date. None of the streamers named here work with SOVE7GN.

Short answer: IShowSpeed is the most clipped streamer in 2026. A CreatorDB census of the 30 days to August 26, 2026 counted 4,835 hashtagged IShowSpeed clips from 1,087 non-official accounts, with about 1.08 billion YouTube views. Kai Cenat was second with 3,266 clips and 558 million YouTube views. N3on, CaseOh, Adin Ross and xQc followed.

The 2026 clip census

The best public count is CreatorDB's census of six major streamers, published August 26, 2026. It counts clips on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram that tag the streamer's name, and leaves out the streamers' own accounts.

Three things to keep in mind when you quote it:

Across all six, CreatorDB counted 9,941 clips, 1,820 distinct clipping accounts, 1.68 billion YouTube views and 260 million TikTok plays. IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat together took about 97% of the YouTube clip views.

Why some streamers get clipped far more

The gap between first and sixth is huge: IShowSpeed's 1,087 clipping accounts against xQc's 55. A few patterns explain most of it.

Clips outdraw the stream itself

For many streamers, clips reach far more people than the live stream. NPR reported on May 12, 2026 that Hasan Piker's average livestream draws about 33,000 views, while his average clip gets more than 700,000. That is roughly 21 times the reach, which is why being clipped is now part of how streamers grow. See why clipping works.

Lessons for streamers who want to be clipped

You do not need IShowSpeed's audience to get clipped. You need moments that are easy to find, easy to cut and allowed to be posted.

  1. Make moments that stand alone. Say the topic out loud before the reaction, so the first 3 seconds make sense to a stranger. See short-form video hooks.
  2. Let clippers in. Keep VODs up, enable clipping on Twitch and Kick, and say publicly that fan clips are welcome.
  3. Ask for a tag. CreatorDB's census only finds tagged clips. A consistent hashtag helps you, clippers and anyone measuring.
  4. Fund a small pool if organic clipping is slow. Even a capped campaign gives clippers a reason to try your content. See how to get clipped.
  5. Do not fake it. Viewers notice staged "clip bait." See what clip farming means.

If you would rather have clips posted on your own accounts every day, SOVE7GN's Entry retainer is $2,000 a month for 2 clips a day. See gaming clipping.

What changed in late 2026

The clip economy is shifting under these numbers. YouTube said on October 1, 2026 that Shorts recommendations will "further prioritize original content and reduce the reach of content re-uploaded from other creators," according to PPC Land. Clips with edits, captions and commentary should hold up better than raw re-uploads. Expect the next census to reward edited clips over plain cuts. See the YouTube Shorts originality update.
