How to launch a Whop Content Rewards campaign
Updated 23 October 2026 · Written by Reyansh Juneja and Naman Dhiman, the co-founders of SOVE7GN, who run the campaigns and review the clips
If you want clippers posting your content and you're happy to run the campaign yourself, Whop's Content Rewards app is one of the quickest ways to start. Here's how to set one up properly, with the decisions that matter at each step.
Short answer: add the Content Rewards app to your Whop, create a clipping campaign, set a rate per 1,000 views and a budget, add minimum and maximum payouts, pick the platforms, write clear requirements, then fund it. Once it's live, review every submission and approve only clips that follow the requirements and show real views.
Step 1: Add the app and create a campaign
From your Whop, add the Content Rewards app, then create a campaign and choose the clipping type. Whop's own guide walks through the screens.
Step 2: Set the rate and budget
| Setting | How to decide |
|---|---|
| Rate per 1,000 views | Public campaigns mostly pay $0.20–$6, most near $1. Pay more for strict rules or hard niches |
| Budget | Enough for clippers to bother. Small budgets fill and close fast |
| Minimum payout | Stops paying for clips nobody watched |
| Maximum payout | Stops one viral clip draining the budget |
More on choosing a rate: how much to pay clippers. Try the numbers in the budget calculator.
Step 3: Choose platforms
Pick the platforms where your audience is. More platforms means more clippers can join.
Step 4: Write the requirements
This is where most campaigns succeed or fail. Include the source videos, which audio to use, required tags and credits, length, what's off-limits and any ad disclosure. Use our clipping brief template.
Step 5: Upload source content and examples
Give clippers the long videos and, ideally, a couple of example clips. Examples cut down on rejections more than anything else.
Step 6: Fund and launch
Fund the campaign. Once the payment clears, it goes active and clippers can join.
Step 7: Review submissions
For each clip, check the requirements, how the views grew, whether likes and comments match the views, where viewers are and any platform flags. Approve the ones that pass. See how to spot fake views.
Step 8: Learn and adjust
Each week, look at which clips earned the most approved views. Update the requirements or add new source videos so clippers make more of what works.
If you'd rather not run it yourself
A managed agency does steps 4 to 8 for you. With SOVE7GN, you fund a pool from $5,500 and pay a 15% management fee. We write the brief, make 2 example clips, review every clip within 24 hours and report weekly.
